The Receipts Index
The Receipts Ledger
This is our public record. Each row is a claim or topic we have logged, with the honest sourced receipt, a tag, a source, and a date. The value is the dated record itself, kept the same way over time. A record like this cannot be back-dated, and that is the whole point. This is an early seed of the record, and it grows. Every number here carries a source and a date, checked against the original, and when we find one wrong we correct it in the open.

"The first trillionaire proves crypto works."
Forbes named Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire, driven by the SpaceX IPO valued around 1.77 trillion dollars. His wealth is mostly locked stock, not cash. The lesson is that assets got repriced the moment they became tradeable.

How big is real-world asset tokenization?
About 335 billion dollars today including stablecoins, and only about 33 billion of that is tokenized assets like Treasuries and private credit. The rest is stablecoins. 2030 forecasts vary widely: McKinsey about 2 to 4 trillion, Citigroup about 4 trillion in securities plus about 5 trillion in CBDCs, ARK about 11 trillion, BCG with ADDX about 16 trillion. The spread is the point.

BlackRock BUIDL fund size.
About 2.2 billion dollars, and no longer the largest. Circle's USYC overtook BlackRock's BUIDL in March 2026. Our own log once recorded 25 billion, a tenfold error; we corrected it to 2.5 billion, and on 2026-07-10 we corrected it again to about 2.2 billion and dropped the largest claim. The correction is the receipt.

Are stablecoins just for criminals?
Stablecoins were about 84 percent of illicit crypto transaction volume in 2025, and illicit crypto received at least 154 billion dollars that year, a lower-bound figure that gets revised up. Still, illicit activity is a small share of all crypto, and stablecoins are also legitimate money rails. Judge the use, not the tool.

How honestly do AI tools answer money questions?
The Receipts Index runs an ongoing Money Answers grading practice. An early internal reading is logged and dated but not yet published, because it has not earned enough dated cycles.

That is the seed. New rows get added with their own dates, old rows stay as written, and corrections happen in the open, the way the BUIDL row shows. Come back and check the record against us.
